What: This workshop will guide you through an introduction to block printing. Block printing is a printing technique that uses carving and stamping to print a design. We will cover materials and techniques needed to carve out your own creations and go over the type of ink that is best for paper or fabric.
We will first focus on becoming familiar with the carving tools (gouges) by carving into small erasers, then move on to carving your design.
