Why: thems. is a queer collective with a mission to nurture artistic talent and amplify queer voices in Phoenix, Arizona. We aim to create programming that supports LGBTQIA+ artists. Our annual art exhibition provides a high-quality, local platform for emerging queer artists in Arizona and beyond. Through an open-call process, we aim to reduce barriers to exhibition, giving artists the opportunity to share their work, build experience, and grow their professional portfolios.
